Femicide rarely happens without warning. The signs are often there, but we don’t always recognise them for what they are.

For the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security, Havas Lemz and Wefilm, I directed a campaign about femicide and coercive control, together with the families of people who lost their lives to femicide.

Through intimate, personal stories, the films look back at the moments when something didn’t feel right—and what, with the knowledge they have now, they wish they had done differently. A campaign about recognising the signs, listening to your gut, and knowing when to reach out.
