Why is it so hard for us — and our children — to make healthy choices?
Everywhere we look, unhealthy food and drinks are promoted so aggressively that choosing the healthy option has become almost impossible. Outraged by this lack of real freedom, the Alliance for a Healthy Generation launched the awareness campaign “Op zoek naar gezond” (Searching for Health), for which I directed a three-part documentary series.
Across the series, journalists Renze Klamer, Hanna Verboom, and Fidan Ekiz reveal how deeply the food industry shapes our behavior — and what it will take to change it.
