Without love, the city would be without colour.

Dutch rapper and singer ‘Snelle’ asked Wefilm and me to create the concept and make the videoclip for his new single KLEUR (“colour”). KLEUR is a tribute to women. Women that enrich our cities in colorful ways simply because they’re part of it. We felt that for this genuine and vibrant summer song an authentic music video with real people and real love stories fitted best.

We found three couples, of three different ages within the three big cities of the Netherlands: Amsterdam, Utrecht and Rotterdam. I asked the men to write a love letter for their lady and surprise them with it. When love is put into words, into a letter and is read out loud, something magical happens. Love shapes the face of your loved one and shows without inhibition the core of what truly connects people.
